Plans:
-Sell JCR Gas Tank Skid Plate.
-Pick up a Factory Gas Tank Skid Plate & Factory Front Skid Plate.
Few items I got recently:
-JCR Nut Strips. I will keep these when I install a factory GTS.
-A spare 30x9.5x15 BFG T/A KO All Terrain. 85-90% left. Gotta have a matching spare!
Stay tuned!

Okay so I ended up selling the JCR Gas Tank Skid plate to a member on CherokeeForum. Nice guy, who will actually put it to use. I ended up receiving a partial trade as well on a Mopar Factory Gas Tank Skid Plate that i'll end up using. Kept the JCR Nut Strips so i'll be using those when I go to install the GTS.
A few days before that I picked up a Mopar Factory Front Skid Plate.

Nice build! I'm super jealous! Like you've seen, I'm gonna be lifting mine two inches as well, although I just wish I had the cash for an OME lift. I'll be watching!

If you really want it, let me tell you it's WELL worth the money to save up for. Even if it takes an additional few months or even a year, i'd definitely do that. The quality is unmatched and the ride is absolutely incredible.
Even if you can't get a full kit, at least look in the leaf springs/shocks.

Not necessarily, just lose a few of those screw things that hold the mat in. I ended up just tucking the engine map above (Well on top) the Skid Plate so it's still somewhat functional, protects the Alternator, and is a second line of defense for a splash guard.

Looking good! I love the look of a 2" lift on 30x9.5's. Not too tall but different enough from stock to stand out a bit. Makes me wish I had snagged those 30x9.5 BFG's off CL!
So you had an OME 2" lift with new rear packs and you added an extra leaf to them? How much extra lift did that give you?

Yes I have the OME Light Duty Pack, and added OME D22XL AALs in the rear.
I sit at about 20.75" hub to flare now. My front is at 19.75'. Just about right so when I do load it down it'll sit equal. The OME D22XL AALs gave me an additional 1'.

Took a trip down to Nor-Cal. XJ performed flawlessly on the highway... Temperature always stayed the same while cutting through the mountains. I would've have liked to do some exploring were I was, but it was a family trip so I still had a blast!
Keizer, OR to Auburn, CA:
Total miles traveled: 1049.7 Miles.
Total amount of money spent on gas: $216
