Not yet. Might as well since the OEM harness is crap too.

Put the new lug nuts on. Everytime I'd take the old ones off there was a chance I wouldn't get them back on. At least I have wheel locks now.

"Don't think of how much you've put into your Jeep."

*Looks over at a box with $700 worth of Jeep parts...*

Not much to update, finally got the new D30 carrier from FedEx's greedy hands, now I have everything neede for the regear. The bumper bracket got lost in space as well. Aaand trying to figure out where the TruckLite headlights have disappeared too since neither me nor RedStar can track it.

But there was the meet and greet sooo...

Yeah. My mentality right now is "look at all this money I've saved up, I can go to school for what I want, or a down payment on an apartment! Orrr I can buy this, and this, and this for the Jeep" lol.

The trucklites are sweet, but I think I'm just gonna do an H4 upgrade. A heck of a lot cheaper. Not quite as bright, but much better than stock especially with the Putco harness I have waiting to be installed.

Yeah, you can't think of the money. Plus purchases are usually spread out, and don't hurt the bank too much. Love your jeep, and your jeep will love you back. As long as you are able to take care and pay for your normal life expenses, buy what you want for the Jeep and enjoy!!!

Possibly the last picture before the new headlights. Putco harness comes sometime tonight (according to Amazon) and will try to install them. I'm in no way, shape, or form good with wiring or electronics. Last time I messed with wiring I set my amp to the garbage smoking (don't ask how it happened, I don't even know) so either there'll be a pic of the new TruckLites installed, questions on why this is now broken and how do I fix it, or my Jeep on fire. Stand by.

I've done 2 headlight wiring harnesses and they are CAKE!
Just simple plug and play and most of the maneuvering of the wires through the front clip and done....

Oh and love the truck! Looking really good!

Thanks! Yeah, it seems pretty straight forward, but I'm going to do the harness another day, attempting that in the dark isn't a task for me tonight.

Trucklights are on!! Didn't do the wiring harness tonight because I didn't want to attempt that in the dark (UPS dropped it off around 7pm), but I couldn't wait to get the lights on any longer.

No headlight bezel.

Low beam (closeup)

Low beam (un-aimed)

High beam (closeup)

High beam (un-aimed)

Really wish I did a before and after shot, or a side-by-side, but I just dove in. Aimed them to what I think it's decent, I'll see when I drive it tomorrow. Can't wait to see how it looks in the day time.

Also had some little issues after installing them. With the ignition on, not started, they would slightly flicker between low and high beam. And with it started they would only be high beam and the high beam dash light would be on, but very dim, while on "low beam". Quick search on the forum and found out it's because of the fog lights (and the stock wiring harness *cough*). Pulled the relay and voila! No more automatic blindness. Don't use the fogs anymore anyways because of my bumper, so this is a temporary permanent solution until I find something to wire to the fog lamp switch.

Trucklights are crazy bright. Need to re-aim them, too low, can see maybe 20-30ft ahead of me before it just cuts of completely on low beams. Either that or I'm just so use to un-aimed headlights. Went out with a bunch of people from a local Facebook group Chicago Jeep Patrol. Me and my buddy Jason reppin the only XJs haha.

Jeep randomly wouldn't start today at work. Would just crank and crank. Last time this happened it was my Crankshaft sensor, which I replaced only a 4 months ago. Disconnected the battery and it started rough, had a 1k idle for a bit, but settled down and acts like nothing ever happened. Jeep's being as bipolar as the weather here.
