Absolutely. My rockers are pretty shot from not washing it at all last winter, but I'm replacing them soon with some nice AresFab ones. My PS quarter panel has taken a beating too. Starting to creep into the bottom of the doors and under the side markers as well. Salt is killer here.

Do you have a link for those rockers? I've got the same problem here in Minnesota.

The new rockers aren't on the site yet. He just finished perfecting them and I think I'm only the 2nd or 3rd to have them. He has rock sliders/rockers, but i don't think they are rocker replacements. http://aresfabrication.com/shop/nostalgia-rockers/

Changed the oil today. Nobody has Rotella T6 in either 5w-30 or 10w-30. I'll have to order it online next time so I settle with the T5 10w-30 and Mopar filter I've been using. Also found a tiny trail on the way to the store.

Front swaybars still on

I'm super jealous of the snow the East got. Suppose to be in the 40s all week and I'm mad. Where's our blizzard!??!

Getting the ball joints done tomorrow. Got some new U-joints to go with too. $226 for the all the joints from NAPA.

Oh that's cool. Yeah, that's all I saw but thought you may have been talking about something else. I'm gonna have to keep my eyes open then.

Thanks. Nope, never found out and it's been fine since (except for it only blowing through the defrost, but it's been like that).

Got the ball joints and u-joints done today. Glad I got new u-joints cause they were completely done, you couldn't turn it left or right by hand. The shop, Tuffy Tire and Auto Service, across from my work did it. Took about 7 hours at $105/hr, but they hooked me up with a nice discount for our businesses working together. I'd have much rather have done it myself and save the $400, but I don't have the time nor the tools to do that. Last thing to do is the brake lines!

Steering is still tight. Alot less tight with the new joints, but no where near normal power steering. Turns out my steering box is messed up. That's not deterring me from wheeling after the brake lines are done though.

Don't know what happened. Tight steering from the shop, to the gym, to eat, to get my sister...but on the way back, as I prepared myself to make a right turn I realized my power steering was back to normal (after I super over turned almost into the curb). Don't know if the ball joints just had to break in or what, but it feels sooo good to effortlessly make a turn.

Bye bye tight steering, thanks for the toned forearms!

good that you have power steering now but I would still replace the box or at least look into it. its suppose to be consistent, but you should know that

Yeah, I'm looking into a new steering gear box. So far haven't had any issues yet.

Sadly the speaker in the Swagbox (what people call my ungly subwoofer box) has blown. Too much bass when it was too cold. This is the second time, so now it's time to upgrade!!

Depending on the sound I'm looking to get either 1 or 2 12" subwoofers, but I still want trunk space. Found the neat little sub boxes that are twp separate units, so I'll be able to save on space, or combine them for better sound and some Alpine subwoofers. Then when it gets warmer and donthe headliner/second soundbar I'll redo all the speakers to Kenwoods.

Look into obsidian audio, sundown, soundqubed. Great subs at great prices. I was into audio long before jeeps. I think i told you that though. Also I love seeing the daily snapchat struggles of you and your jeep. I don't post mine anymore as its always a struggle. Gotta let subs warm up in the cold man

Check your fan control switch. Mine started acting up and it turns out the plug behind the dash got extremely hot and started melting. Not good. Don't want an electrical fire.

Gonna be close to 50° tomorrow, but raining. I might try to do the brake lines as I don't work untill Tuesday. Funny thing, went to the Jeep dealership to get a pre-bent rear hardline to make it easier, but I guess Chrysler stopped manufacturing them. Something getting put on, maybe lights, but I need to clean out the "Jeep Parts corner" in my room.
