So nothing got done (as usual). Yesterday I found out the shop that did my ball joints never reconnected my right swaybar at the top, and the RE end links use a stud and nut, which aren't there. Didn't drive that much different except when I hit a bump and my wheel rubbed, that's when I noticed. 5 days later. Said screw it and ordered some JKS quick disconnects.

My 12" subwoofer boxes came too. Aaand have to return them cause the material around the terminal was all ripped.

That build quality tho

Sending them back tomorrow and the company's sending new ones for free so that's nice.

that terminal cup looks kinda crooked too. Just use a box without the terminal cups.

I can't cause the box is compromised, that tear is deep and cuts into the box itself, not just the spayed liner, so it would mess with the air volume when I put the speaker in. The other box isn't much better either. I'm fine with waiting for a new one

no I wasn't saying use the box you had I was saying use a completely different box without one of those terminal cups. If I could ditch my terminal cup I would. Just a weak spot.

Ohhhh haha. Read it wrong. I understand the weak spot of them, one cracked on my first box during its maiden voyage. I just like the ease of being able to quickly unplug if I have to take it out.

my wires don't even go In my box so there's no purpose for me, easy to disconnect.

My current setup is a homemade auto-tuba box, an older amp (forgot the name), and an 8" sub, it was nice and the auto-tuba design out-preformed my friend's 10". The box takes up just alittle over half my trunk space though, which is why I want to change so I have more room. I'll get a pic tomorrow of it.

On the bright side the replacement boxes were shipped today. Also found out I in fact DO have a nut strip on my passenger side, couldn't see it because it blended in with the rust. Will probably end up pounding it out when the new Ares Fab strips come in.

if you get an area fab bumper see if he'll make the tie in for you otherwise it's a waste of money. I wouldn't trust the factory 8 bolts for anything so I had to have him custom make me a set of tie ins. Also, my friend has 2 12" subs with 1000watts I have one with 600 and I destroy his.

I have his front evolution winch bumper and love it. Already used it to pull some people out during a sleet storm we had around Christmas. It's held on with 12 bolts, and the mounting bracket goes all the way past the steering box (PITA to get in though lol). I know some previous designs of the bracket were different, but I like his products and have hung out with him a couple times, he's a great guy with some cool plans for other mods.

Haha, I love it when someone asks what I have, and then show them what's in the back and they're wondering how it can make all that noise.

mine doesn't take up that much room, my air compressor is behind it. Put the amp in the rear quarter panel, and my speaker amp is under the back seat. Don't have a picture of the full trunk, but doesn't take too much space.

Currently looking at another big purchase to go into the "Still needs to be installed" corner of my room.

Either a new exhaust: Gibson cat-back preformance with a Magnaflow universal cat aswell as a flex joint pipe. My stock exhaust is worn, the cat is toast, and there are rust holes in both the cat and muffler, I'd like the little but of mpg and power from a fresh system. Headers would be later down the line.

Or a Detroit Truetrac LSD for the rear. Being a DD I want good road manners, but don't have the funds to drop a selectable locker in yet, that'll be for the front most likely. But I want the added traction.

Or Napier flat flares. Because reasons.
