It was time to return to that ledge that took my exhaust.
Casually doing a wheelie
Smokin them tires
Took a few tries but I finally conquered it. 4-lo and the skinny pedal were my best friends.

That rock ledge to my right rear flare too. Bastard. Only the left side had flares at that point. The mud put took the other front one.

Then it was time to go
Filled up the tires, shoved my exhaust, and flares into the jeep and got ready for the 3 hour drive back. This time with walkie talkies
This is how the jeep looked.

Flash forward to yesterday and I get a ticket for the exhaust. I was able to get 16mpg and 268 miles out of that tank of gas without that clogged up cat converter and now I have to put it back on..

So as much as I didn't want to, I washed the jeep today. Mud was fun, but the clean up is not.
After about 15 minutes and $10 with a pressure washer it's still red under there.
Then gave it a nice wash, put the flares back on, and added the new stickers at home.
Cleaned up nice

Damage Report
-All the flares/trimmings are barely holding on (except maybe the front DS flare)
-rear quarter panel is bent from the tires
-scratches obviously
-steering wheel is crooked again and it pulls to the right harder now (alignment needed. Again.)
-interior is a mess with dried mud everywhere
-the exhaust is missing behind the downpipe
-the plastic thing under the engine had to be cut off so it'd stop hitting the fan
-permanently disconnected swaybars up front because the axle mounts are bent inwards.
-shakes around 30mph (probably from the alignment issue)
-2 bolts for the roof rack came off so now it rattles when I hit bumps
I'd say that's petty good for it's first time being offroad, jumped twice, and overall beaten.

Well there was 3 things, the exhaust is what got me pulled over. Then I found out my plate expired last week (IL doesn't send out reminders anymore and I didn't even realize it), and no front plate (where exactly am I going to put that?? The rack maybe?)

do they not send the stickers in the mail for the tag? In SC they send it the month before it expires, and I'd hate to have a front tag, I've see some people put it In the windshield, or ziptied to the grill. But they make things that clip onto the rollers for a winch that hold a plate. Attachment 284621
