It was recommended, but not needed for mine. I have the upgraded harness still sitting in the box waiting to go on

is he producing those as an option now? When I ordered mine, that was the first set of tie ins he had made because I told him I wasn't buying it without them.

He included it. I still have to get the tire carrier that goes with it

I haven't installed it yet, still painting it, but I'll be sure to take some. The nut strips go into the unibody and one of the brackets bolts up underneath the frame into the nut strip sandwiching the frame between it

Bumper and mounting pieces pretty much done painting. Have to re-bleed the brakes first before I get into mounting because there's still some air in the system.

Primed

2nd coat of paint

how well is the red paint holding up on your front bumper?

Very good actually. Cuts and markson it from trails and whatnot, but as for the weather it has done suprisingly well, no chipping or flaking anywhere

nice, I need to repaint my front bumper because I don't like the kind of bedliner I used on it and the rear is starting to look bad...

I've never used bedliner and those who I've seen have didn't like it long term. I make sure when I paint I wipe down the metal with brake clean, a first light coat of primer (I use Rustoleum clean metal primer), let dry for 15 minutes or enough to touch, then a heavy second coat and leave it to dry completely, then a light coat of paint, wait 15 minutes, then add 1 to 2 more heavier coats.
