Oh yeah, definitely gonna use a few cans, especially with all the salt here during the winter. Already can tell it won't be fun with those rusty bolts lol.

Yeah its no fun at all! We had to drill mine out then just bolted them through the floor board and occasionally i have to pull my carpet up and tighten down the bolts cause they'll squeak and its annoying

Boom! There we go! RE 3.5" Super-Ride lift kit w/ monotube shocks (Bilstein 5100s). Plus their adjustable trac bar.
The U-bolt kit is for a D35, didn't realize I ordered it with that because I have a C8.25, so I'll have to swap that.

Nice! I see it has all the goodies like swaybar links, track-bar, control arms and so on! I ended up purchasing mine all seperate, but doing like you did would probably have saved me time and money.

Most of it came in the kit, except the tracbar. It was on sale on SeriousOffroad's website so I had to get it this month or rebudget everything again. So I have a lift, but no wheels or tires yet. That'll be long months of saving up.

Use that time to do plenty of research on what tires you will get and what backspacing you want your wheels to have. Good luck with the install!

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it. I plan on going with 32x11.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/Z with Kevlar, as well as some generic circle window black steel wheels. Got a quote from Discount Tire for around $1400 for 5 wheels and tires, mounted and balanced, with their warranty. Not bad for a $65 wheel and a $192 tire.

So I was going to give my Jeep a little tune up by replacing the cap, rotor, plugs, and putting some NGK FR5-1 V spark plugs in. Buuuut tickets to an early showing to Jurassic World took priority.

No, I haven't even started it yet. I want to wait until I have my wheels and tires so I don't look like I skipped out on leg day driving around lol. Plus my work schedule is so random I know I'll need a couple of days off just to do this. Don't worry, I'll be sure to spam pics when I get to it. Just a grueling time saving up.
