Bright Red 97 XJ Build

Get it aligned. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Another thought - can you barrow a set of wheels and tires that are known to be property balanced? Swap and see if it happens again. Most times I had death wobble it was because of wheels&tires.

Taking the jeep for an alignment tomorrow. New full timer at work has a red 2 door XJ lifted i think 3" front and 4.5" rear on 33s and I drove mine to work just to 1up him lol. Also need a scle of some sort to measure 8oz of balancing beads per tire, unless anyone knows of some other way?
I never realized how big mine is compared to another XJ

And to answer your question: what swaybars? lol
haven't ran them since my first wheeling trip because I bent the axle mounts in and could never reattach them. Had the 3.5" RE super ride ones and them the JKS quick disconnects for a bit, but a shop lost one of the studs holding it in awhile back while doing my ball joints without telling me. Both sets still in my garage I think.

Gotcha. Just finished my build enough to get back on the road and maybe I'm just not used to driving with 35s but man does it feel different than 31s. Wobbly almost. Don't want to make any sudden turns lol

I always take my turns nice and slow and I dont drive in the expressway really with it because of tolls and sitting at 3000rpms at 80mph. I was told yesterday my jeep looks like a boat when I turn because of the body roll, and that was just taking a left from a stop sign lol. Are you on stock steering still?

Those are both some seriously nice Jeeps!!! I'm not personally a fan of the 2 door models but I still like them both the way they sit. Oops I meant to quote the photo of the two red Jeeps not this one

Got my alignment done and honestly I think that did the trick. Mine was so out of wack, it went from -0.20 to +0.50, steering wheel is straight, and so far no wobbles!
