No I've put off the cage & chop for a while cause I had to start driving the xj the last few months, so the wife could drive the wj... that and I'd prefer the performance upgrades over visual appearance!

Update: gears are set in the rear, & after a lot of prep work it was ready for paint (pics taken after about 3 coats of black primer) "if something is worth doing, its worth over doing!" donkeypunch

Nylon indoor/outdoor from checker! Goes on great. I figure 2 cans primer, 3-4 coats of gloss blk, & I might lay down a clear coat. That should hold up for a few years! Lol

I used a wire wheel on my drill. Couldn't get it down to bare metal, but thank god its out of a 2000, cause my '89 WON'T clean up!

2 coats of gloss, & replaced the pinion seal!

I plan on getting both riddler diff covers before the post install oil change. USA standard says to replace the oil after 500 miles, but i'll only let it run maybe 300 miles before I wanna peek inside!

Gloss looks good. I am the same way. I have to peak in and its always sooner then they say you need to lol

you went with USA standard gears? have you had any experience with them? how were they to setup? just curious as i have been thinking of going with them but read some so so comments about them but never first hand...
