HEY! i have a 89 aswell. not too sure on what i want to do with it, can you either send me some pictures of the rear end on a side pic, or all over. especially the rear wheel wells. i have not started my lift yet, and want to see how i should approach this. mine is a 4 door though

I agree with the LA/SA... but its al about balance. LA is good, but i would rather have armor/lockers then long arms. but to each there own.
I chose to go with the same gear and locker combo in mine after reading threw yours...

Ryan im deff diggin the two door you got got. Reminds me of mine. (Still upset i had to sell it). Love the aged paint and all the ideas youve got. cup holders, sliders, tire rack, winch mounts, diff cover. O and the tires look bad ***. lots of inspiration.

I went with function over form! It's still to come though, next tax season...
All my pics are in this thread. Go back to the first page for wheel well pics! Do your homework, & you'll do fine.
It's the way to go I haven't got out & wheeled it yet (SOON), but I'm loving this gear setup so far! As for long arms your exactly right to each their own.
Haha I've always kinda wanted to paint it, but every time I hit a rock or drag it down a tree it reminds me why I didn't! Good times
