Ya I like the wrap more too! It really wouldn't be all that hard, but might look dumb with the detours , & bumper still back there! Plus it would cost more to wrap it! It would also be nice to have a tailgate to set my beer on! Lol

Ya I'm leaning toward the tailgate also! Jeep man, what ****** tailgate are you thinking of? The old scramblers are to hard to find... got a pic?
BTW the 3rd third row will most likely be pulled out, cause the wife is looking for a DD/WW XJ

the dove tail would only make sense to me if you are going to be running 40s or something close. otherwise i would just stick with the regular chop top and make it look good. but if you dont plan on doing a lot of body work to get rid of cut lines then you might as well dove tail it. You will get lots of benefits with the dove tail. (not worrying about trail damage once you get the front half of your rig past the tree or whatever the obstacle may be not to mention there are only one or two other dove tails on CF.com!

I will be running full widths (most likely 44/9") in the next year or 2 on at least 37"s... I will be doing all the body work to make the dovetail look clean when its done, as well as fresh paint!

Good luck on the decision lol its a tough one....regular, clean chop in my vote. Otherwise, it starts lookin like a tube buggy instead of an XJ.
Just my .02 tho
