3 Year Update
Wow, Time Flies.
It's been 3 Years since the last major update to the Jeep. I built the Jeep to Run and Run it does. The Jeep has moved out of the daily driver spot over the last 3 years in favor of my gas saver. But she still drivers her self to and from the trails, so she no trailer queen.
Here is some highlight pics, because what's a thread without pictures:
The Approach to Daniel at Uwharrie:
Got the drivers side about 2ft off the ground on the way up:
Poser shot(hung up on Rocky Mountain Loop) Need another .5" of lift or 35's...
Anyway the update is because after three years of keeping up with guys on 36's and always making heads turn when someone says where's that guy think he's going has lead to needing a little TLC for the Jeep but why not just go all in and take it to the next level

Took a break from the bumper today to take out some aggression and make some room for the new 33's.
After I ripped off the fenders I marked all the rivets with chalk so I didn't cut any of them up.
After a few whacks of a hammer I went from 6" of clearance to 8.25"
Still need to clean them up a little bit and do a little touch up on the paint but I like the look so far.

Still waiting on my Brown Dog Mounts - 3 more days!
Also, I just got done burning another hole in my pocket:

Purchased a Solid Cover for the D30 & D44. The 44 has a fist size dent in the rear from the last wheeling trip... Still a little scared to see what's learking inside

These things are beast, 3/8" Thick plus Ribbing, makes we want to hit one on a Rock. They even included RTV with each one.

Been Thinking about just opening up a New Build Thread, but it's the same build with the same goals as of right now. So ya'll tell me if you want to see a new thread or not
The Tire's I've had for 4.5 Years now and have no Complaints.
They do well on Road, Mud, & Rock which is what I wanted.
The things that sold me on the ProComps:
3PLY Sidewall
Sipping on Mud Tires
Side Wall Tread
Non Directional
ProComps Tread Life Warranty (40,000 miles)
Price (Buy 3 get 1 Free)
If you want a Tire that gives you the Best Off-Road capabilities while not sacrificing to much on the Road then I'd go for these tires again.
For my Next Set of tires I'm not sure yet, wouldn't pass up on another set but wouldn't mind something a little more sticky. Thinking of trying out the KM2's next, (less road friendly but the Jeep doesn't see that much pavement anymore.)

Got to work on the Jeep yesterday TLC:
1) Washed Her, inside and out.
2) Cleaned the K&N
3) Changed the Oil... Twice...
Well I bought the Oil from Walmart as the Jeep has always preferred conventional 10W-40 for some reason. Well I went to pour in the 5Qt Jug and it was BLACK!! Some dingbat most have changed his oil then returned it. He did a great job covering it up though, anyway drove back to Walmart exchanged the oil and repeated the process.
This ate up the rest of my day to do the diffs so I'll be working on that through out the week.
Left to do for the TLC:
Change D30 Front Diff, Install Solid Cover
Fix D44 Rear Outer Seal, Install Solid Cover
Run Lucas Fuel Cleaner
Install Brown Dog Motor Mounts

Local guy was parting out a 99 XJ, I was hoping to score a steering pump bracket but he had already sold the whole motor.
I went ahead and scored these though:
They are better in every way over the originals, can't beat a direct bolt in on top of that.
Also, thanks to another guy on here who is local, I'll be getting that steering pump bracket after-all, along with a 60mm throttle body...

Got a bored 60mm TB from TheXJFiles last night.
He even bored out my TB Spacer while I was there.
I Highly recommend picking up a TB from him if you haven't yet.
Bolted it all up last night and drove The Jeep 60 miles back home. The Jeep was so much more responsive after this. The lightest touch of the gas pedal would get the jeep going, off-road this will be good cause i like to feather the gas. Also, it no longer rev's up when going up hills to keep speed, everything just stayed constant. Even coming up the on ramp for the interstate, I didn't have to punch the gas and get to WOT to get up to speed. As a final test when I got near my house I hit the gas from a stop and it barked the tires. I haven't had the Jeep bark tires in a long time...
