So, I posted here a while ago about being given a '96 2dr 2wd 4cyl 5spd I dubbed The Unicorn (since it seems a really "rare" combo), and I got to thinking about what to do with her.

Well, I decided I was going to restore her, with upgrades! Basically, as things need to be replaced, Ill make small changes to improve her, but at the same time retain more or less stock appearance and function.

For example: Upgraded but stock height suspension, LED dash lights, sound deadener when I redo the headliner and other covered parts etc.


The main goal for me is to take this already good jeep and make her a reliable daily driver. Rather than go for lift, Ill opt for comfort.


So far the issues to address will be:

*Suspension (rear is clunking over bumps and shifting sideways)
*AC/Heater
*Body Damage
*Interior refreshing
*Electronics (radio, CB, lights etc)

 

Sounds good, that's pretty much exactly what I did with mine. Tint, interior leds, led headlights, speakers + deck, repainted black trim pieces etc. Keep it clean
