haha It took me 2 days to get it completely stripped. A few of those disks, flapper disks, and 3 different wire wheels for the housing.

Probably Krylon flat black. I'm painting the diff covers OD Green

OD is gunna look sick... i think im gunna end up going siver/grey with mine..

I actually found some paint that is made for 'roll bars, chassis, and suspension components'

It sprayed really nice and looks and feels great... its made by VHT if you wanna check it out, i got it at advanced autoparts...

worked on making some bumpstops, and i also put on some front tow hooks:

better pics of dana...

welded up some bumpstops, this is one of my very first times to do this and ive never been taught soo.... its a little ugly, but i felt like it sunk in really well... (i was using a tombstone welder)

im too cheap to buy hockey pucks, but this will do... i used high strength epoxy to put them on...

testing it all out...

look close and you can see the guy holding up a camera phone... ahha

lolz at the wooden bumpstops.

the welds look strong, all be it very messy. Penetration looks great, now you just gotta work on your technique.

great work leo! I'm still somewhat of a newb to MIG welding so I'm in the same boat as you.
