haha. i did the same thing in my old 96. then a week later i rolled it. haha. my dad laughed at both incidents. You are lucky to have a mom like that! hah.

iornhorse off road park.

its about 30 min south of b-ham. but it wasnt that great, not that much land just a bunch of trails packed in...

haha my parents are the exact same way. i finnaly had to tell them i wheel after the whole jeep was covered in mud and barely running lol

Well, the mud messed up my alternator and the engine was running :really: loud so i replaced the alternator and belt and now im good

HAHAHA,man thats gotta suck

I really dislike where the alternator is mounted on the xj, its very low and open for an electrical part.

I had to replace mine after doing a local mud-bog race

So do I, I've killed one by getting mud in it. I'd like to somehow make a guard/pan that shields the whole underside of my alternator, plus my crank pully and belt from mudd and water. I'd like to buy a spare oil pan from the JY and see what I can't fab up, put drain holes that allow water out but not in

The one good thing you get from this kinda clean up is I didn't see any rust. That floor pan is clean and in great shape. Great job on the clean up.

hey here's the pics of what i did today lol thought i'd be cool if I put them here with yours leo

the brown stuff is muddy water lol

had water past my headlights and up to the side mirror by the time i got it out the longer it sat there the deeper it sank

ended up breaking the steering stablizer bar and tie rod and ends

went and got it today and apparently the steering stabilizer and tie rod and tie rod ends ain't all i ed up lol it ain't been a good day
