hate to burst your bubble Leo, but , your gonna hate those quick disconnects in a couple months.

The problem with those is the hole starts to open up, and eventually the noise alone will force you to buy new ones

Lol,, its funny that you say that, cause i tried doing the same thing. I even tried fitting small rubber grommets in the hole, but I eventually gave up and bought some fixed end links,,, If I were to get ones again it would deffinatly be JKS

i would have, but 150 bucks is a little steep for a swybar link, IMO...

well, i have another small update..

The jeep had been running terrible for the last 3 weeks or so, conking out, tach was going crazy, and i was getting about 8 MPG, average.

i had been suspecting an o2 sensor for a while, then it wasnt shifting well, so thanks to the forum i boiled it down to the TPS...

then finally my CEL came on, so i went and got it checked and it said i had a bad TPS, a bad o2 sensor, an evap leak, and a misfire in cylender 3

so i went to the auto parts store and got all that stuff and a vaccum line and put it in today, and, my gosh i dont think ive had a nicer ride in my life, it was amazing

heres the stuff i got:

and i made some BPE's outa the old rear swaybar mounts and the sleeve inside the old swaybar bushing:

Nice jeep. I am right now where you were at the beginning of this thread having just bought your first vehicle and not having a dime to your name. Hopefully I will be able to get started on the jeep a few months from now. I also thought it was funny that you got the power steering hose replaced as thats the only thing engine wise I need.

I have a few smalll updates...

I put in some adjustable rancho 9000's in the back, my old shocks cuttoff about 3 inches of droop, and these allow for full droop but cuttoff about 1inch of uptravel, wich i figure is a fair tradeoff...

I also put on my BPE's and shortenened my quick discos so it rides good again

and i made a custom sticker:
