Thanks. It is getting there. New bumpers are next along with window tint. Added a small storage box in the back today. Bolted it to the floor. No more D rings and stuff sliding around.

Good day at the beach. The dog loves jumping in and out of the back getting sand everywhere. I did pull out several kids in a focus, camry, 2wd F-150, and F-250 4x4 that the 4x4 did not work. They were all happy to get pulled out for free.

Been very busy the last few months and just now have free time to work on the XJ again.

Just put on a new Smittybilt XRC front. Ordered Aussie lockers front and rear. Ordered a new Smittybilt rear bumper/tire carries. Lockers and rear bumper should be in by end of next week.

I bought led projector bulbs to do this for my 98, but the bulbs don't fit. Could u take a picture of the new bulbs and sockets? I'd really appreciate it.

I should be able to tomorrow. They are a direct swap. The plug in end looks just like the original bulb. The LED bulb is the same shape just more of a cone instead of a bulb on the other end. I bought mine at Autozone but they don't have them on their web site. Advanced has some on their site.

The new LED is shaped like this:

Original bulb is below. Again, a direct plug in no mod necessary.

Who painted your Jeep? Looks stellar. Mine was a City of Houston Jeep too, and the wife thinks it could use new paint

Thanks. Believe it or not it is a Maaco special paint job. $569 when they were running their annual special. It even looks good up close. I did the rocker panels with rattle can bed liner. I will have to dig around for the exact color name but it is the darkest tan they have in their book.

Thanks! Did you prep it, or did they?

I did zero prep. The bottom was already bedlined, so they did the rest.

Yeah I will probably do the bedliner spray to mine too. After I deal with a little rust.(Gotta love Michigan..)
