Houston Kid: Beware the RC AAL in the rear. You may need to upgrade with the shackle relocation kit. It arched my original springs more than they could handle and reverted the shackles to a 90 degree angle with the truck. Thus, I have zero rear suspension flex and very limited travel...it also killed all of the bushings because they were under such intense stress, and my factory main leaf looks like it's ready to crack at its ends around the AAL spring. I'm not saying I'm not happy with the lift, I like it, but the issues in the rear definitely need to be addressed...I'm going to rebuild my rear leaf packs using a combination of pieces from my OEM packs, my RC AAL, and a pair of Comanche springs I picked up at the boneyard.

XJboy14: That's a 30x9.5...there's room with that lift to go a little bigger. It will definitely fit 31X10.5X15s. I have the same lift with that size tires and they fit perfectly.

I put the injectors in yesterday and all was good. Took it to get tires today and on the way home, gas smell real bad. Got home popped the hood and the 3rd injector from the front was leaking gas at the fuel rail. I removed the injector and noticed that I crushed the o ring when I installed it. No big deal, replaced the o ring and no more leaks. I drove around the hood for a few and when I got home, the engine started running really rough at idle. Almost wants to cut out.
I pulled the injectors, cleaned the manifold where they go in really well using a vacuum to make sure not junk got into the manifold. Checked all of the o rings, they were good. Reset the computer and let it idle in the driveway for 10 minutes. Started running rough again a idle. No problem while driving, just at idle.
Any suggestions?
Here is a pic of the tires. I'll take a better pic tomorrow. I got side tracked trying to fix the idle issue.

I am going to paint it desert tan and Rhino line the lower 1/4 front to back. Not sure how high up I am going to do the liner. My guess is just to the top of where the original flares were and leave them off. I like the look of no flares.

Better pics.
I pulled the new injectors and put the originals back in. I reset the computer and no more rough idle or rich fuel mixture.

MB TKO from Discount Tire. I thought they were the elites, but just checked and they are the TKO. 8.5" wide and 4.6" backspacing.
The lift called for a 4.5" backspacing but these were as close as I could get in black. I think they turned out nice. I don't like my tires to balloon out and the Falken called for a 8" rim but 8.5 was close enough and the tires go straight up from the rim. No balloon affect.

Thanks. Not sure why they did what they did, but it was no bueno. I contacted the guy on ebay I bought them from and I am waiting on a reply. He advertised as 30 return policy so I will see about that. If not, if you want to give them a try I will make you a smoking deal if they work. If they don't I'll take them back no problem. I am an expert now and can install a set in about 15 minutes after doing it about 5 times in the last two days. I did notice that 2 of my old ones are cracked on the side. I am going to replace them all with factory spec ones once I get these back to him or whatever. They were $159!!!!

Man, you've given that old work jeep a complete makeover. Looks much better than when you got it. I'm very familiar with San Luis Pass, think I got my Z71 stuck in that same hole last year, looks like the same place. I'm just north of the island in Texas City. There used to be a place over by TAMUG on Pelican Island to go wheelin' too but I haven't been out there to check it out in a long time. Lots of guys brought their rigs, 4 wheelers, and bikes out there. How are you liking those Falken tires? I put a set on the Z71 before I sold it but never did anything more than cruise soft sand spots on crystal beach with them.
