What you wish you went with? I’m pretty new to this trail rig stuff.

Yeah the rim looks way better with this rock ring. Just wish I was able to afford some beadlocks right now.

There really isn't any lower options. My trail rig has the same drive-train as yours with 5.38's.

I'm going to the 6.0L/4l60E/NP205. Which actually has less gearing that my 4.0/Np231. Should be fine though since the HP will double and all.

Yeah that extra HP will be nice.

My favorite seats ever. Wish I had never sold mine. Have Mastercrafts now.

Yeah nothing but great reviews on them. Buddy just got some in his buggy and they’re comfy as hell.

Those rock rings look great man... you gonna paint 'em any special color or just black 'em out?

It’s getting somewhere finally. Rear still needs to be trimmed more.

Not sure to be honest. Might just run a clear coat over them and call it a day.

Default 30 to 44 swap

This my first time on here I have built my Cherokee from stock with alot of extras but now I have d44 and 9inch Ford from 79 f150. I have long arms now. But radius arms are on axle. Trying to find pictures of how to adapt either way. Can you guide me where to go or who to talk to. I do have a welder and random steel. Thanks

Unfortunately, 79 F-150 D44's had cast wedges. You can't remove the radius arms wedges on those easily. You can cut them down some but not too much. You'll have to build upper and lower control arm mounts around those and add coil buckets. No company that I'm aware of makes an all-in-one bracket that works around those mounts. Personally, if it were me, I'd likely sell those axles and find something a little more suitable for swapping. Granted, having built a 44 before, I wouldn't bother building another one.
