Wholly smokes that is a lot of money for an axle. Though I have not checked my local prices so I would be willing to bet it is probably close to the same. People know the demand for them and they are solid axles so I guess. What does it take to get one ready for our XJ's cost wise on top of what the axle alone is going to run you?

I remember them days. **** Andy is the one that got me into and helped me do the 8.25 swap in my first Cherokee. Very solid axle.

Thanks all for the advice did not mean to hyjack your thread to ask this question but I figured I would get the quick responses I did to sum up my thoughts. I'm still leaning for the C8.25 but figured if a deal was good enough to grab it now I would.
