Nice build man. You put a lot into this build. Hate to see you get another vehicle because I don't want you to get distracted from the Cherokee.

 

Haha yeah I did get distracted for a bit, but I'm back now! Currently rebuilding my transfer case, adding a SYE/cv driveshaft, and fixing other odds and ends. Some bastards decided to break in through my wing window and steal my stereo, gps, iPod, etc... I hate thieves. Luckily they didn't break much. I found a new window on eBay for five bucks. Just pisses me off that someone was in my jeep... Next on my list are new tires and a steering linkage upgrade(not sure which option yet). But mainly I just want to get back on the trails!

 

That thing is clean, might be the cleanest old model xj ive seen. good work.

 

Your my IDOL love the jeep perfect combo of lift and tires IMO. Exact same plans i have for my 89 2 Door.

I hope this finds you since I am recovering this form the depths of the forum. Can I see some more pics of the roof rack? I want to have a rack on my XJ that you can stand / sit on(See Pic)..You know in case I am in a herd of zombies and I need to get to high ground!
