Interesting about the Navy quip, the base I'm on uses a ton of salt, the most I've ever seen and I'm from the snow belt. They salt every couple hours it seems. I don't like driving on base because of it. but it's a sub base and those guys do everything weird.

Hope you have a brush for the seat. Sitting on snow is really annoying.

Same one I used for the windshield. Didn't help with the 3" of snow on the floorboards, though. Yay, boots!

Week ago I picked up some work boots packed with 200g Thinsulate and composite toe and plate. Yay no steel! These ****ers are soo warm. I imagine you have some fancy military type boots along the same line.

Nope. A really nice pair of Oakley boots. I got 'em free from a friend cause they didn't fit him.

I did cause I have to wear my ****ty uniform to work. I've been taking them off when I get 2-3 days between shifts.
