yea i think that's right. 5* would get you to 0* difference between the pinion and driveshaft, and you want -2* so a 6* shim should be good.

Cool, cause I just ordered some lol. I knew about the difference, but I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone about how it'll affect both angles

well it'll vary a bit from that once you move it since the center of rotation isn't the pinion flange, but it should be close enough. You want the pinion 1-2* below the driveshaft - you should end up within that

Not yet. I'd like to finish the rear (driveline angles, check DS length, and maybe shocks) before I start on the front. It'd be easier to narrow down vibes/issues if I do one axle at a time, but I might not have enough time to do it that way before Rausch.
Also, I need a stock pitman arm before I can do the front cause I'll be losing my 1-ton steering with this swap. No worries, though, cause I'll be doing it again with the new lengths once I iron out all the kinks
