i'd check the condition of your motor and trans mounts. Sounds like your exhaust is taking a beating due to drivetrain movement

Brown Dog motor mounts and a brand new trans mount. No body lift and a stock-height belly pan

Holy ****ing **** this thing sounds so much better with a 2.5" downpipe. I might even keep the Super 40 on there as long as the change in flow doesn't make it drone. I'm pleased

Good to know! I've already got 2.5" everywhere else - been wanting to go 2.5" for the downpipe anyway, so that just makes it worthwhile right there.

Yep.

And with the new downpipe, it sounds even better than it did before the leak started.

TJ downpipe (2.5") to 2.5" to a 2.25" Flowmaster Super 40 to the OEM 2.25" tailpipe

I reused the muffler that was already installed because it's pretty new, and I don't want to buy another one. I'm very pleased

I got home from work last night, changed clothes, and got back in the Jeep to go to the movies. It started up like normal, idled while I connect Bluetooth, and then suddenly died before I left my parking spot.

I have fuel at the rail and spark at the plugs, and it cranks strong. I just did a badly needed complete tuneup (cap, rotor, plugs, and all seven wires) to see if it would help, and it cranks stronger but still won't fire up.

It's 5:30am on Friday, and I've been out here all night. I might not make it to Rausch this weekend
