Did you sandblast the body? or just blast it with some kinda of spray?

scrubbed it with a wire wheel then hit it with some self etching primer , the engine compartment was a disaster but with some engine degreaser and a 9 year old we tackled it pretty quickly

Looks Good!


I have a 89 that needs a new door and new paint... Its like a tan purple color... not quite sure how that happened..

I was curious because I really don't want to have to take the exterior down to bare metal.

the rear section of the cab was donated by Economy AutoParts. They always have 3 or 4 XJ's there and have good panels, fenders, doors interiors, tranny's TC's
-Protrux Donated a 5th rim
-McMahon Tire off of W.Coluseium Blvd. donated 4 35x12.5x15 Mastercraft's
-Rough Country donated a lift
- Metal supermarkets donated 120 wall 1 1/2 DOM tubing for the cage
-northridge4x4 donated gears lockers
-the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) Chapter 40 made a cash donation to pay for the paint work, new windsheild, etc.
-Ft Wayne Clutch donated driveshafts and front axleshafts inner and outter shafts u joints

Jeepuporshutup.com guys came out and donated their time to wrench on this project
GetBentKustoms.com donated cage, and tire carrier, Rock rails, and installing motor, gears and lockers
