If I had any advice to do it all over I would have bought an 98-01 XJ and done the chop, The 89 was a rust bucket but luckily I had Baseline4x4outfitters.com get me the floor sections. I took the wiring off of the 01 XJ donor and the instrument cluster works great

Brillant idea! Just a little piece given back to a soldier who risked everything. Love this build. Mad props to the builder as this thing has been heavily modified, yet looks like it just rolled off the Chrysler Assembly Line.

When ever you did the Dash did you just have to take off the front like the bezel around the steering wheel,The Cluster bezel Dash, the top dashpad and the glovebox and there was a frame behind it where these PCS screwed to or did you have to take out the entire dash and put in the 01 frame for the dash to screw on?

I had to totally dismantle the entire dash , I laid it all out and then took the cast steering column mount and welded it in, then I had to weld a inch strip across the entire fire wall. I had to plug holes in the firewall and hole saw out for the 01 wiring harness. then after about 8 test fits we screwed the entire dash frame in. Then bolted the heater core section in then started putting all the dash peices in. It isnt an easy job we worked on it for about 2 weeks straight staying out into the shop till 3 am but the end result speaks for itself

Took it for a test drive around my edition today, I about wrecked it from the bad deathwobble , guess I need to buy a track bar, and replace the stabilizer since its stock too!!!!!
