The Poser project
Here is my jeep, 1998 170k 5-speed, just going to post my mods as I do them. Stock when I got it, will be the stereotypical 4.5" with 33's this summer.
So far- tires mounted, fog lights, Thor intake, fitted rubber mats for front and back.

First pic from last night, lots of pb blaster applied. This morning I pulled the axles to bring them to get re-geared and spartan installed. Only broke rear upper shock bolts.

That is some pile of pretty parts you got there. Looking forward to watching this build unfold! Also, how do you like running the thor intake? Noticeable difference?

This mornings progress before work. Need to get c-clamps and proper welding mask after work. don't mind crinkled exhaust.

butt dyno says it is an improvement. noise is noticeable, from sucking to roaring. roar is fun. got it for deeper water and another battery is going in stock air box space eventually. i'd do it again.

Today's progress so far, ran out of wire for the first time. Starting to get the hang of this welding thing. Hoping to get other mid stiffener in so i can attach Clayton crossmember and track bar bracket, then work on the axles and lift, amongst other things. Fender trim job needs to be cleaned up also.

worked on other mid stiffener, nearly done with that. axles are back, re-geared to 4.11's and front spartan, threw a quick coat of chassis saver on them, except covers. cross member and track bar bracket got a couple coats of undercoating. diff covers will get attention when i change the gear oil after break in period. next plans are finish welding stiffener, paint it, do sye, find driveshaft, lift and tires on, drive
