So I Picked up a winch from a buddy yesterday. Gotta figure out how to mount it with out ruining approach angle.

So yea I gotta stuff this as far in I can but it's still gonna stick out so I'm gonna have to give it some protection since I'm known to kiss rocks with the front bumper lol

.. My plate does not look very happy. Lol but no dents or bends in this bumper I built so I think I did good.
The real test will be a winch pulling from it.

Ok all done! Had to reinforce the bumper some to make sure it can handle the weight of the XJ
I don't think I'll have any issues.
Next thing is to add a remote switch in the dash so I don't have to plug in the remote everytime I need it.

So you live close by Mabell? It takes me bout a hour and 45 min to get there from my home but worth it.
