Bushwackers are installed! The black box has never looked better!
The rusted/dented quarter panel is completely fixed too.

If my jeep turns out like this someday, mission complete. Looks great man, love the black on black and I'll probably stick with it also.

Thanks man, black on black is my favorite. I'm gonna tint the headlights and tailights. Then I'll paint the the shocks black. Everything's gotta be black haha.

I'm giving my old wheels and tires to a friend who's entering a demolition derby with a 1987 grand marquis. They're Goodyear wrangler at's with about 1/4 tread left. Can't wait to see what that car looks like sitting on 235's hahaha

ebay has a couple tinted corner markers for sale if you wanna buy some, otherwise VHT makes a can of the spray on stuff just be sure not to lay it on too thick or you may get in trouble with the law.

Yeah I was just gonna use the rattle can at first to see how it looks and holds up. Eventually replacements will be the better option.

Brown Santa dropped off some presents from summit racing.
Got a set of black locking lugnuts by gorilla locks. The set is 24 lugs so whenever I get around to buying the JCR rear tire carrier bumper I can throw locking lugs on it too, and I'll still have 1 lug to spare.
Also got a 60" hi lift xtreme series jack. I might regret getting the 60" down the road, but for only $5 more than the 48" I figured what the hell, why not? This thing is beefy!

I would like to create a large black box, and by large I mean upwards of 20 feet by 10 feet. Maybe a little smaller, maybe bigger - either way, large. I want something that is durable enough that if certain individuals attempt to tear the structure down, they will not be able to. Furthermore, it can't be too intricate since we all are college students putting the box together and have limited resources.

How much did you trim your front fender wells so the tires will clear during articulation? I run the same tire with a 3" Rusty's kit and 1" spacer on the HD Coil also, on the rear is the complete 3" spring pack and the .75" grease able shackle for more articulation there also. Like you removed the rear sway bar, on the front used the sway bar quick disconnects, adj. lower control arms, track bar, tie rods misc. all Rusty's.
The close-up is with the old 31x10:50 the one on the trailer is with the 33x12:50 you can see how much is trimmed and all bump stops have been removed no rubs so far. I'm guessing they did a lot of trimming before they installed the fender flares. I found a new set of the Rusty's Flares on Craigslist never opened for $150 so I bought them, will see how they do when I slide against a tree with them

Doesn't matter what plastic flares you have on your jeep. If you rub up against a tree those flares are popping off.

Looks great so far man. You still planning on going matte black with it? If you are, are you going to rattle it or get a singe stage like this

I haven't seen (in person) many matte black jeeps, but the ones I have are awesome.
