Interesting. Where did you bolt it up to?

It bolts to the frame. There are some weld nuts that you use in the frame. Mine bolted in 5 spots. Took less than 10 mins to install including the time I spent tapping out the rusted weld nuts.

Replaced the thermostat. I noticed a small difference but it wasn't too cold out.

Also check out my mount job on the discos.

I just picked up an SYE kit as well. The instructions don't give me confidence! Does the sway bar work well mounted up there like that?? It's a cool idea.

Research the internet a lot before you do the sye and have some help from somebody who knows what they're doing.

The sway bar mounts will work like that, however I either set mine up in a bad location or my tires are too big to store them like that. I rubbed one of the storage posts yesterday and lost a click pin. I have yet to diagnose the problem.

Oh! Storage! Duh!! I get it. That is DEFINITELY cool! I was thinking you were running them like that. Thanks for the SYE research tip. Will do...

It would be cool if it worked. If I move things around it might work. I don't have high hopes though, my tires use up every bit of wheel well when flexing. I've got those bumpstops right on the money and I haven't done any true wheeling since I put the sway bar and discos on. I might have to do some creative maneuvering if I want to store the discos like that. I'll post any progress.

Just took the jeep to get the alignment checked. It was pulling/steering to the right and making some funny noises. Turns out I need a new steering box which means upgrading to a Durango box. I also need u joints on both front wheels.

Hooked up a cb radio with a custom mount job. I think It looks good and it's very functional. If I feel like it, I could make it more flush with the roof but that's gonna take some time and care to accomplish. One day I will.

Also I mounted that box for the repair manual, not sure if I told you guys about that on this thread. It's pretty sweet and stays out of the way. Plus it's waterproof lol.

The Jeep looks great!
Very strange, I'm planning the exact same thing right down to the bushwacker flares. I'll get around to starting a build thread one of these days. I just read through yours and it's very motivating.
You're well ahead of me but I do have my shocks painted already though.

Thanks brother. I'm pleased with my jeep, it's true when they say just empty every pocket though lol.

I have a license to carry, and I finally found a good place to mount my pistol. I used a SERPA holster that I had and don't use much. I think it's gonna do the job well. Plus I put my Bowie beside my drivers seat. Both weapons have easy access now lol. Just in case.

It's gonna be a big weekend for the jeep. I finally have a day off work and I stock piled a few upgrades and improvements for a sunny day.

The jeep is also going to the shop next week to get a new oil pan gasket, oil pump, rear main seal, and poly leaf spring bushings.

I'll update with pictures once I get all the work done.
