So I've been real lazy with keeping you guys up to date in my build. Partially cause I like to use the phone app and it's not letting me upload pictures, also because jeep has needed more maintenance than building. Here's a quick summary of my jeeps summer.

So I had the leaf spring bushings replaced. The shop never did my rear main seal cause they were gonna take too long and I wanted my vehicle back. It took them a whole day just messing with those bushings. Then the jeep threw a fit and broke down while in the shop and I had to either fix it myself or pay the shop to fix and troubleshoot it. So I chose my route, one new crankshaft position sensor later and I drove her home.

I got the air conditioning working by replacing a vacuum line and recharging the system with coolant and some sealant to help any leaks.

My new steering stabilizer failed at the drag link side heim joint. So I called rustys, they gave me a new one, painted it black and slapped it up in there.

The steering box has finally been upgraded to a durango steering box. It's leaking so yay that's gonna need swapped again in the near future. I also went with a zj pitman arm, I needed a new one so I just went with one with a little bit of drop. It got a new tie rod end also, I bet you couldn't figure out which one...

I tried doing the u joints myself. That isn't happening. Idk what to do, they're stuck in there. I tried about a dozen different methods for getting them out but nothing works. This, along with my rear main seal and oil pump will need done by professionals when I have the money available.

So I've got that cheap little cb radio hooked up, it still needs tuned. I've yet to actually use it the way it's supposed to, nobody wants to talk to me haha. I swapped out the cheap antenna for a 3ft firestik and bought one of thatxjguys mounts for the antenna.

As far as the interior goes, the carpet is gone. I dropped the headliner, removed all the crap, and instead of putting up new fabric I spray painted it with that flex seal stuff you see on tv. It worked out pretty well.

I took some time and painted the underneath of the jeep with bedliner to prevent rust and make it look pretty.

On another note, I'm finally getting 14 mpg!!!
The keyless entry quit working, I messed around with programming instructions for older models and suddenly it's working again. Not asking questions or touching anything, just gonna let that one be.
The clock spring quit working so now I have no airbag, horn, or cruise control.

The next things I plan on doing are hood vents, trans cooler, and bedlining the floor pans and roof for the winter.

HEY! I can upload photos again. Here's what I've got in my phone. I'll snap some other pics of what I've done for the thread soon. Sorry it's just a sexy pic and pics of my antenna. That's all I've got for now.

You're the first person I've ever seen running the same wheels as me.

I just went through the whole thread. Nice work!
We all have had frustrations with our rigs. Persistence pays off. And wheeling always helps with inspiration.

Summit racing USA steels? Hell yeah. I wanted the 8 spoke ones but they were out of stock. I figured that the 5 spoke ones kind of accented the stock xj look.

Thanks Steve, I appreciate it. I haven't had a chance to do any real wheeling yet this year haha.

Exactly my thought. I loved my 5 spoke Eccos, but I wanted black steelies and Summit had a hell of a price on them.

Summit is the way to go. I bought my wheels and tires from them. You can't beat $50 shipping on 5 33x12.50's, and free shipping on the rims. Everything summit ships me gets here in 2 days. Even if it's the free ground shipping they offer, parts get here in no time from them.

Yeah I get free shipping here in middle TN in 2 days from the GA facility. Anyways, sick rig. Can't wait to see what else you have in store for it.

Summit is great but don't forget JEGS. Free shipping on everything. Great when you need a single or low cost item.

And Jegs stickers add 25hp to your rig. Proven fact.
