yeah, I have a 19LTD Classic (basically the same thing just without all the extra features) - I have it paired with a 5' firestick and I get a near 1:1 swr match. I would definitely recommend a power mic because otherwise you have to eat the mic all of the time and talk very loud with the factory passive mic. I mean the cobra classic series isn't as good as say a $600 galaxy or a Texas Ranger with side-band.... but for the purpose of trail use, they're great.

No need to talk to a trucker on the interstate 20 miles away - it's cool for bragging rights, but who cares?
