those are way too much ****ing money. I just removed the resonator box and stuck in the K&N filter. I doubt the injen intake would work much better

I guess one could assume that. The resonator is definitely restricting. All I know is that between that intake and the Comptech header, it dyno'd showing close to 75hp increase on mine. Best thing is, I bought it through the dealership I worked at with the mods already installed by previous owner...so I didnt have to take that hit to the wallet.

Bought time you started to take care of that rust.

yea the floors are bad - my drivers side has been patched with some sheet metal for some time now, passenger side is all carpet flooring, i have a huge hole above my muffler where it burned through the carpet a while back. Cargo area is not bad as far as I can tell, maybe a little bit by the corners of the hatch, but generally solid - i'll be patching that selectively.

Plan is to cut out the bad areas and section out the new full pan as needed to patch the existing. I don't plan on ripping it all out as the transmission tunnel is solid AFAIK. I plan on doing it at Alex's shop in Sykesville the beginning of October (2nd-4th) after work each night. I'll start ripping out the interior this week most likely if anyone wants to help .

Ball is rolling and stuff is being ordered.

SO...the plan is after finishing the repair of the floors, they will receive "the treatment". What is "the treatment" you ask? Well carpet will be getting thrown out within the next week, soooo....

Just ordered:
50mil foil backed 100% Butyl sound deadener - 25 sq.ft. (think Dynomat but wayyyyy cheaper)
1 gallon tintable Monstaliner w/ "Pyroclastic" color
1 quart Chassis Saver silver aluminum paint
1 can of Eastwood 2K epoxy primer

plan is:
use the chassis saver on the bottom of the floor as well as inside the frame rails
cheap rubberized undercoating layer under the truck over top of the chassis saver
sound deadener over the floors on the inside to cut down on heat and sound
2K epoxy primer and then the monstaliner rolled over top of the buytl sheets

This is the color i chose:

EXCITED!

You'll love having no carpet. Looks like it will be nicely done.

yea - couldn't convince myself not to do SOMETHING about the sound/heat though since it's my daily driver. Hopefully the plan pays off to put the liner over the sound deadening sheets

It's honestly not as bad as you would think. But your more picky than me, and keep a nicer jeep. So with the setup i doubt you'll notice it's gone..... Well besides the smell.
