5150s are in. Easily 200% improvement in ride quality over the Teraflex shocks I had. The front of my rig just isn't heavy enough for the 9550s to ride soft (they are for a JK with 4" lift supposedly).
Old vs New - Almost identical lengths and travel, 5150s have a slightly shorter body.
Homebrew T&J brackets up top
IRO Bar Pin Eliminators bottom
Total package

also, drilling though the triple layer inner fender for the top shock bolt to pass though = COMPLETE PITA.

Yea I like the 5150s way more than those crap RC shock i had. With the control arm stretch and the 5150s I think she rides just as good, or better than stock

I've been meaning to learn how to do it too. I've never actually seen anyone do it with tools just all by hand and with a torque wrench. so why not 4.56's? you know you'll want 35's eventually

Gear set up really isn't all that bad, IMO. Tedious and it helps to have someone there who has done it before. Or text Lowrange a bunch of pictures of your patterns like I did.

lol. Yea i'm not scared of it at all, but things like that where hundreds of dollars are at stake if you **** it up, i like to make sure it's right. I'm a pretty visual person, once i learn how to do something once i'm usually good to go
