ive had really really good luck using dish soap and a pressure washer. they come way cleaner than you would imagine. Ive done this to every vehicle ive acquired. you could take it to a car wash if you dont have a pressure washer. just let it dry really really well and put it back in. its worth a shot it might save you a few dollars

well the other day i had a squeaking pulley after some diagnosis found it was the idler pulley so replaced that...today put in my rusty's long arm crossmember without all the bracing cause don't have long arms yet and while i was in there i put a new tranny mount which made a big difference in shifting and such...ordered some goodies and am waiting on other goodies to come in...going wheeling again tomorrow

Well waiting for my bolt kit to come in so I can install my Brown Dogs, looking for my new t-case so I can swap it in I will be doing a NP241OR which came stock in '03-'07? TJ/LJ Rubicons and has a beefy construction and a 4:1 low range compared to stock 2.72:1...I just finished up my research so I know which yokes I need and can run a front shaft in the rear temporarily until a Tom Woods unit comes in...this will all happen once i find and buy a t-case (have 2 leads right now)...then I will work on getting my right front brake line done (from master to wheelwell then install my crown extended on that side), putting new u-joints in and Superior outer axle seals in and my Lock-Rite locker in...then we will see from there

Well on this beautiful day didn't get a lot done but it was something so the to-do list lost two things...finally got my right side hard brake line and extended line on:
then finally beat down in the inner fender pinch welds which have cut my tire a bit once before:
