Hopefully getting some free stockers to run while i re-do my rims cause their all rusty, and hopefully doing brown dog mounts tomorrow, and hopefully finishing surface rust repair sunday...

Well got the stockies mounted up (looks so dumb but its temporary) and got my 32's off their rims to re-do the rims...then went to my buddies house and after a overly drawn out pain in the a*# process i got the brown dog motor mount plate kit in...honestly from the first drive which is a little weird to begin with with stockies it kind of sucks blatantly but i guess got to get used to it cause it went from shot mounts to super solid feeling...so maybe the bushings have to wear in (I hope) and i have to get used to them if not ill throw the stock plates on with the brown dog mounts...tomorrow begins taking the wire wheel attachment to the rims if that isn't going to work locate a sandblaster process will take place....

Disregard most of previous post I did some research it takes a bit for bushings to wear in, I may have overtightened the thru bolts, and a cracked manifold can cause excessive vibes...

The engine bracket goes between the engine block and the coil bracket, (not over the coil bracket). Give us a call and we'll help you. Meanwhile, I'm clarifying our instructions. It should look like this:

Thank you Karol for on-the-phone tech help fixed the issues with my installation and what a night and day difference hardly any vibes at all HIGHLY recommend these mounts to anyone building a motor or replacing motor mounts if installed correctly theres a tiny bit more vibes but i am sure they will fade as bushings wear in...also put last coat of paint on my rims now just to put them back on saturday after work, then i am going to wash it, and hopefully sunday going to pick up a 5-speed parts cherokee...

I bought it to do 5-speed swap on my xj but got there and found out it has crank windows which is a huge bonus cause i wanted those too...

Well teardown began on my parts jeep...starting tearing dash apart and console (it had a non-broken center console latch...yay) got to figure out how to get window cranks off so i can take apart the doors, took the front driveshaft out and t-case linkage...and while i was under there i got a glimpse at how much of a rot box this jeep is the floors are rotting out in places, unibody is rusting in places, lower rear quarters are gone, inner and outer rockers are gone...

there should be a clip on the window crank handle that you take out then the handle will come off

Got this gem in the mail the other day:

and been slowly tearing into my parts jeep but today decided to swap some aprts onto my xj did both rear doors to full manual
mid-process left side:

completed right side:

then i swapped my header panel wiring harness to find it did not fix my problem...problem being that my running lights on the right side (front & rear) do not work but the turn signals and brake lights do...

Finished swapping in the front manual windows i am so happy to have them and also fixed my front speakers while i was in there...then on the parts jeep got the clutch master & slave cylinder out and almost the clutch/brake pedal assembly out and the right fender off...slowly but surely going to be a long amount of time stripping it tomorrow...
