Well today after work even though it was outrageously hot out decided to put the skid on...first shortcoming trailer hitch had to come off, ok ...second short coming I am tightening the last bolt which is on the gas tank strap and the strap snaps, damn thank god for spares...so I had to go to rockys after taking the skid back out amd finally got it all back togethor with lots of hydration and sweat I was soaked...
And yes I know my diff cover is leaking thanks to my crappy rtv job I am gonna redo it with a lube locker...

well got the windshield done and was so pressed for time i ok'ed a $100 "rust repair" in the window channel cause its the only way they would put a window in so i figured if it dont leak whatever and they said they'd take pics....well on my lunch break in a huge rush i go to pick it up and the pics she shows me are black and white (how the -f- can you justify a repair with black and white shots so again being rushed i was like as long as it dont leak and its good paid $100 and left even though they didn't vacuum the jeep even though they say they did etc etc....now comes the next day after raining the night before...before leaving i look out the window at my jeep and noticed theres paint missing on my roof from where they had laid some tape down (wtf) day goes on i decide for haha's to check my floor for wetness and wouldn't ya know it the window still leaks (wtf) so i am in process of getting my inspection sticker and my fellow employee turns my lights on and is like "why's your rear wiper on" and i'm like oh crap turn the lights off cause if they stay on cel will come one and ill fail he's like ok and i explain the electrical problem i thought was fixed actually isn't but it hasnt really rained since i thought i fixed it...so monday i am calling up those idiots and getting a refund cause they didn't do my window properly and screwed everything up.......sorry for long rant
also washed my jeep today even though going wheeling tomorrow to wash it again to go to a car show monday night (can never win)

decided to take out my fuse block on my jeep to see if the electrical problems could be stemming from there i take it apart and find this:
and a lot of corroded fuses so i got to my buddies shell of an xj take out that fuse block and took it apart found cleanliness so i poured in gobs of dielectric grease and used it for every fuse and connection put it all back together and i don't think my electrical problem is fixed ....one more thing to check off the list i guess and a preemptive strike against future issues

well goodies came in finally can't wait to put 'em on:
yup JCR upper quarter guards....BUT...i got a dispute to settle with JCR as their website states they come with taillights and in an e-mail response i received when i was pondering buying them i asked if they were available without lights and was told they no longer sell them without lights which was fine with me but for $300 i want my lights....
