Ok well another Friday has come and gone and man did we get a bunch done in a short amount of time. Got wheels and tires, seats and brackets yesterday at about 5 then we started to work. We cut the bumper flush with the tube fender so it wouldn't protrude into the wheel well like it was. Then we started on the seats. Well Corbeau is gonna hear from me on Monday. I ordered two seats and the complete replacement brackets for a 92 XJ. I get the factory motorized seats out of the Jeep and slap the Cobeau in. Well lets just say that whoever does their bracket design must be a midget. I am only 5'7 and my head was about an inch from the headliner. My buddy is a bit taller than me and his head was TOUCHING the headliner. Well that would be just plain dangerous for wheeling. So I tore them out cursed out poor Seth and he wasn't even at work anymore and then proceeded to tear apart the factory seats and customize them to fit the Corbeaus. Well it worked I have motorized Corbeau without having to spend $200 on their retarded brackets. Take that seats. Then we got the factory tire slicer cut and folded. No way was I gonna have those annoying cuts on the new 35's!! We got the driver side factory fender welded to the tube fender and it looks sick. Should be getting the double tube fender on the rears on Monday. Stay tuned!!

So yesterday we got the rear fenders on FINALLY They fought us all the way. But I did get to practice welding, this was my third time, and laid down some nice beads. The motorized Corbeau seats are pretty sick. I will have to put another bend in the B pillar so I don't smash my head on it. Those seats are high!! So more to come. I found out my frame is cracked at the steering box...shocking I know. SO I have decided to replace steering box and leaking pump with PSC. and when I remove them I will plate both sides with 1/4 inch and weld it up. I think I have decided to make it a three seater as I have to modify the driver side rear seat to accommodate the huge 35's that I want to mount in the back where the stock spare would go but it will be a bit bigger than stock. It won't allow the back of the rear seat to close. I will take any and all suggestions of how to deal with the back seat. I tried putting the factory bucket seat back there but not enough leg room. Help me figure it out.
