Where did you get the bulbs from? Ive been having difficulty finding bulbs that actually fit...

I was born and raised in Tampa Bay (moved to SoCal 6 years ago) and used to work off of Osceola in Port Richey and if memory serves me well there was a cherokee Dr also.

So I bought two sets of used Infinity tweeters.

One of the sets just happened to have only one working Tweeter out of the two.

The other set I'm still waiting on, so I'm hoping that at least one of those works.

I also have a set of Infinity tweeters that have brand new aftermarket Tweeters in them that haven't been used. But they have been tested and work. I might sell those to get my money back for the two sets I bought already.

I bought them knowing they were not tested. But it seemed worth the risk to me considering their rarity.

 

I see. I was asking because I bought a set off here. Dude said they worked, one didn't, he said he'd send another set. That was like 4 months ago. Lol.

What tweeters did you put in them? They fit good? How did you secure them? Sorry for all the ?s I'm looking to do the same thing though.

 

I found a set of 1" tweeters at a local sound shop and removed all the plastic down to the bare speaker. Just pressed them into the Infinity covers and spliced the wiring from the original Tweeter. They plug right into the door plug as usual and sound pretty good.

Do you still have only one working Tweeter?

If the set I ordered doesn't have at least one working Tweeter, I might be interested in a trade.

Looks good. I'd be down for a trade, but I'd be worried about the one working tweeter I have surviving shipping. Apparently that's what killed one of mine unless the seller was full of spit.
