I just replaced my exhaust manifold not too long ago and a lot of the bolts were hard to get to. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a leak somewhere from the torque being out of spec or wrong.

Changed the oil today and gave the Jeep a bath with my cleaning kit I got for Christmas.

I tried some of that Restore Oil Treatment stuff in my oil this time around. A lot of people here said it does great stuff for the engine. So I can't wait to see how that works out.

Some brand new rear wheel cylinders for the brakes went in. I also adjusted the e-brake. It stops better now and the e-brake seems tighter than it's ever been.

Good to hear man. We need to go wheeling together once my rig is road worthy

I sold the roof rack today for $80.

I have Bilstein 5100 series shocks on the way, and my next order of business is a set of TNT long arms.

I am completely removing every Rough Country part off of my Jeep, apart from the bumper, which I actually really like. I plan on ordering Clayton leaf springs/coil springs too.

I only bought the relocator because Rough Country's springs are short to begin with.

Clayon's work well with the OEM shackles and provide 6.5 inches of lift without the need for extended shackles or relocation kits. Moreover, they have insulation between the leaves so they won't rust from friction, so I'm excited to get those and put them on!

My leafs from IRO have the same but I still need relocation brackets for a better shackle angle. Can't wait to see more progress

Same here with the RC crap, I was about to switch my RC long arms to claytons because simply they're just better their crossmember is a lot smaller and with the RC one I have to remove the long arm cross member which didn't line up for s*** to remove my tranny pan which I hate, I will soon be going the way you're going we should've just went that way to begin with hahah

Yeah, I bought the RC stuff to begin with, basically as a template. I got a lot of hate for choosing RC, but it was a great way to get my Jeep where I wanted it from the start so I could kind of decide how I wanted it to be.

In the mean time, I've found exactly the height I want to be at, the tire I want to run, and I've modified all of the main points of the Jeep to where I like it.

Now, I'm going to solidify my build. Basically, carve it in stone. I consider the Rough Country a Rough Draft. But it is not a capable or reliable kit. It flexes like an old man and it breaks any time I touch anything. I snapped a bolt on it yesterday, AGAIN.

So excited to go Clayton/TNT.

Come to think about it it does flex like an old man hahaha I even changed my shackle angle with the no lift relocation brackets from HD and my flex is good but not great and I agree with the breaking, my adj. track bar broke within a couple months then got an IRO one, but yeah same with me I can't wait to go Clayton that long arm kit is damn expensive though but probably well worth it than the crappy RC one.

Not trying to defend rough country because I don't like them much, but mine flexes pretty dang good.
