nice
I like what you have done in making a ZAV. I have some similar plans to make mine similar in some ways. But I will not be lifting mine, I like having some decent mpgs.

I bought the Herculiner do it yourself kit, it had 1gallon of bedliner, 2 rollers and a paint brush for the corners and stuff. It cost $99.00 over here in hawaii and I did 2 coats on the floor and had enough left over to do the inside of the fender wells and the rest of the under carriage!

Well it's Sunday, which usually consisit of me doing two things: Browsing CF, and sitting outside starring at the ZAV.
I have been inspired by the ALICE/MOLLE thread. I have a pretty sweet MOLLE bug-out vest. Keep it right beside my bed. I have it set up as a 24hr survival pack. All the basics, medic, and 200 rounds of ammo. Here's a pic from when I first put it together:
This got me thinking about setups for the back of mine. I have so many ideas my brain feels like it could explode. First things first, need to relocate the spare. While I was brain storming I wanted to see if my BB gun would be mountable in the hatch area:
Not too bad of a fit. I'll keep that open as an option.

Nothing wrong with what he has put together, staying on a budget, and yes Im sure the army has way better gear than that (Ihope) but he is paying for it, not the tax payer so "your" gear that you have you didn't have to pay for, I'm just saying, no need to dog on the guy. Plus if the gear works for you and what you need it to accomplish your goal or mission then your good, no need to go buy all "new" gear from a surplus store...U.S. Marine for twelve years.

My "build" wont be quite so obvious...but i do want do some minor things like the Jerry cans, some type of liner for my undercarriage and stuff and a bug out box for the trunk. then maybe some touch up paint and body work. Im new to the whole jeep thing and I love my truck. Ive got to start off slow.

So now that you have had the lift on for a while how do you like, are you glad you went the route you did that is pretty much what I am thinking of doing a 3" RC I also want to be able to drive it on the highway for some shooting matches I go to. Hows the highway ride with it. Im looking at going with 31s also.
