Did a little exploring on some forest service roads and logging roads on my area. I think the next purchase for this thing will be quick discos up front. I think in total it was about 45 off highway miles.

Quick discos installed. Went with the off brand JKS arms. Funny enough the instructions show JKS links… used my side yard to test the flex it out.

Just caught up with this; shame as so much more relevant to where I'm at with my '98 (complete with odd hatch) than many builds.

Didn't think those clear sidemarkers & turn signals were still available & mine's red so quite keen to do an "orange delete" - where d'you get them?

Last I knew they were still available for the front.
You said clear but really white IMO cause they do/did make clear ones where you can actually see the bulb.
Which also IMO are butt ugly.
Now rear tail lights like I have

were an Ebay find but not available anymore best I can tell.
But if you want all white in the back then you can get everything in one shot.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/115612540110

And I have been hemming and hawing about purchasing these cause not really sure about all white in the back.
And be aware that if you do this you will need to swap over too LED's cause regular bulbs show through and IMO destroy the look.

I said "clear" 'cos that's how OP described them although I don't like them either & that's all I've seen recently, whereas what I want are the "white" ones, as shown

An alterative to LED's to avoid the "fried egg" look are "chrome" bulbs.

As for amber delete at the back, there were some aftermarket rearlights with red turnsignals (sort of '97 up Wagoneer) but now there only seem to be smoked ones - but they might be better on a black one. (of course, they're illegal here but, thanks to modern technology, I can get round that.

I checked into those when I ran into that problem.
Best I can tell they are just regular bulbs with a mirror coating.
Problem was the only place I could really find them was at Amazon and Ebay.
Nobody really seemed to care for them.
Said they were not bright, makes sense cause of the mirror coating, and they seemed to not last.

here is the link to the markers and turn signals I went with. I then pulled the bulbs and went and found similar bulbs in amber color. I’ll eventually do LED’s all around it, but stuck with regular halogen bulbs for now.

Amazon Amazon

Yup, exactly that.

Definitely seen them in-store (probably O'Reilly's) & think they were Sylvania - but it's a long time now since I was able to visit, so they may have gone out of fashion/fallen from favor.
No problem with with buying on-line, it's the make, not the vendor that matters. In fact for LED's & other light conversions I can recommend https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/formula-j87 (never mind the UK ebay, he's in California)

Have them in a family hack (which had factory white turn signals); no issues, although can't speak for longevity. Of course modern amber bulbs don't last that well 'cos they're only coated - since amber glass was declared hazardous.

Thanks. Not happy with the shipping + tax. Ordinarily, I'd wait 'til I was visiting but can't imagine when that'll be now, they've only got 3 sets left & I'll kick myself if I miss out, so might have to bite the bullet & pull the trigger.
