Got my 8.25 with relocated shock mounts,Superior chromo shafts and Aussie locker installed today. Thanks to Jason at'' Rock your 4x4''Went in smooth as silk,I however did not get the brakes bleed as well as I would like despite my GFs help! Heres a couple of pics looks just like any other 8.25 on the outside other than the shock mounts.

Thanks man,I gotta figure out something for the shocks.I am gonna need new shorter ones now because of the relocated rear shock mounts being higher.I only have like 3'' of up travel and a ton of droop. The ones i have are for 4-6'' of lift I think 2-4 '' might work.Seems weird to do a mod that requires shorter shocks!lOr maybe something like this.http://www.crossenterprises.com/xj.html

Ha yeah I hear ya there. Maybe you can find someone to swap shocks with? I know you can get some cheapies from napa or some place like that for the shorter shocks. But who knows how long they will last for the wheeling you do? It would be better to get some good quality ones.

Just press out the bar pin in your shock then go to the hardware store and get a sleeve that will fit snug in the bushing. Then a grade 8 bolt through the sleeve with a nut and washers. And a couple 5/16 bolts with nuts and lock washers up top on the sway bar mount.Grade 8 is probably not necessary but that's what I used.Hard part is going to be getting the old bolts out.You. will probably snap them.Just drill or punch them them out after you do.I drilled

awesome, 'preciate it.....all 4 of my upper shock bolts came out with ease...no snapping, so I know I'm good there...but if I'm using the sway bar mount...won't I have to drill holes to be able to mount it?
