Just read this whole thing for who knows how long. THIS is the way to build a XJ! I love clean rigs that aren't all smashed up. This is by far one of the cleanest I've seen, Love it.
Sand Mines and Windrock look like awesome places to wheel with some sweet technical areas.
I'd leave the paint scheme the way it is or go all the way up to the bottom of the door handles right at that sharp body line, like the other red XJ at the top of the page.
Cant wait till I get me welder so I can my all my stuff!

You aint kidding man stuff I would normally have to bump it over(even with a locked rear)I just crawl over with very little effort, the rear locker pushes it up a ledge and then front one pulls it over!Awesome way to spend 260 monies!

I have actually gone a step farther since then and modded the top to snap back on too and wrapped the side in reflecting metal heat tape.Seems to work pretty good

Got me a sound bar, cleaned all the old foam off with brake cleaner sandded it down and then slapped on 3 coats of flat black Krylon and stuck some Sony 6'' speakers in it,nothing fancy just functional. Not into booming the stereo while I ride anyway too hard to hear if something breaks or is about to!But it should be nice for the ride home..
