Dont know if there is a write up here or not but I just disco'd the battery and then bled all the pressure off the fuel rail, unbolted the fuel rail removed the stock injectors and plugged the neon injectors in(be sure to get new o rings)and then bolted it all back up and reset the ecu,and then kept an eye out for any leaks

I picked up my sliders last night and painted them when I got home. Then I installed them today.Just drilled out the holes where I wanted them on the pinch weld used 5 5/16th bolts w locking washers on each pinch and the main leg that goes to the unibody is 4 3/8th self threaders on each.Very happy with them and for sure will be buying some more stuff from Mayhem.Heres a list of the stuff I used to install,I just copied what another large off road company uses on their sliders.16-3/8 x 2'' self thread screws.10-5/16 x 1 1/4(trim these off after you finish tightening them) 10-5/16 nuts,10-5/16 flat washers and 10 5/16 lock washers. And a 5/16 bit for pilot holes for the self threaders and for the bolts in the pinch.

Sliders look awesome, there exactly how mine are mounted ....Very nice XJ build, keep up the good work.

heres what mine look like...

Quick question, did yours come with the plastic door mouldings and did you remove them... was it difficult ??

thanks

Nope no plastic mouldings, but I have heard of some guys removing theirs though,Cool sliders you got looks like they would help keep the side of the jeep off trees and rocks.

I think I misunderstood you question man,YES, you have to buy new u-bolts if your swapping a D35 for a C8.25,the axle tube on the 8.25 is bigger

Ok thanks I think it looks better with no side mouldings like yours... Re the slider: Yep thats correct.. !! This is what I wanted, as I like dding some creeks runs and rocky trails, so definately helps keep the nasties from the lower doors/body.
