Camaro Rant. Not Relevant to the Jeep
My first car was a '92 Z28
Bought the one I'm working on August 15, 2010. I got ripped off pretty bad on eBay while I was stationed in Germany. This thing was supposed to be street/strip ready with lots of mods, and I paid $5500 for it. My dad picked it up for me while I was away, and we found that the PO blew a piston/fused the block, transmission was shot, tires dryrotted, injectors clogged, and he touched up the scratches with black gloss rattlecan.
So, after nearly 2 years, it has a new 350 crate from Summit, new injectors, replacement 700r4, new tires, and I'll be adding Digi-tails LED taillights (video at the bottom of the post), a Wonderbar and SubFrame Connectors real soon. Oh, and it doesn't have a radio, so the 7 hour drive should be fun with my full 3" Flowmaster exhaust
Pictures are from the PO. The one next to my old XJ is the only pic I took.
Those are the only pictures I have right now, and my dad won't send me any more cause he's a jerk! The good news is the car has 32k original miles, and it hasn't touched the road since '97.

Full LED grids for running lights, brakes, turn signals, hazards, reverse lights. They have a dipswitch so you can turn the sweeping motion on/off to make it a normal solid light. It's a $300 kit, but it's as plug-and-play as you can get with an LED conversion. I like the look, but I see it as a matter of safety. I don't want two years of work and nearly $10k to go down the drain cause someone didn't see my brake lights.

They offer a Monster in a Box rebuild/HD kit for most trans. Makes them MUCH stronger. hope u get the old girl home soon!!!! Jeeps are great and all, but, IMHO, NOTHING beats HP in a fun rear drive package

One more today:
Got the Dirtbound Offroad Switch Cluster in place. The Sunpro temp gauge isn't hooked up cause the probe doesn't fit in my temp sensor hole. The switches are all empty cause I lost my bedlighting kit. And it isn't pushed fully back into position. Just wanted to see how it looks, and now I'm thinking about spraying it black. I've been up 36 hours, and I've been outside for the last 8. It's 99° right now with a heat index of 111°, so I'm done for the day.

Firestones on the Camaro AND on the Comanche? Tempting...
Might need to schedule a lift (budget boost) party for the old school MD crowd just so we can meet up and hang out.

Impromptu night wheeling at cgarrett's place with 96xjclassic.
Wrangler guy broke his water pump right out of the gate, and he went home. That left me, 96xjclassic, and our spotter.
Got pinned between three trees and had to use one as a fulcrum to maneuver the turn.
Now that's what I call stuck!
After I got him out of there, we had to navigate this baby with his now-broken transfer case linkage (stuck in 2WD).
He found a hole! Amazing flex there.
Befores:
Bent my plow mount from all the snatches. Buckled the top portion and broke half the weld from the driver side of the mount...
