Doing great so far with the MAT unplugged. I'm so damn happy to have that off my back, I can start focusing on the future again. Sitting here at Subway, I'm loving the trimmed front fenders (thanks again 96xjclassic), but she really needs bigger tires. It feels great to switch from troubleshooting back to planning

Sweet onion chicken teriyaki on honey oat. Teriyaki chicken, onions, green and yellow peppers, jalapeños, shredded cheese, sweet onion sauce, toasted, then added lettuce, tomato, spinach, salt and pepper, oregano, a little spicy mustard.

Yes sir. Just installed an external speaker by my head for the CB. Could never hear it before, even at idle. I'm cleaning it out now, taking a test drive soon since I cleaned off that sensor, and I'm hoping to do the thermostat tonight. Also considering how to mount the soundbar, or if it'd be easier to use scrap metal to mount them instead of the bar.

Oohhhh yeeaahhhhhh... Oil change. Good call.

I just got this speaker on Amazon for $12, free shipping with Prime. Static is much louder than before if I turn down the squelch, but I haven't tested yet since I don't get good reception in my parking lot.

I can totally relate to this...

Congrats on nailing the problem with the backfire... I knew you'd figure it out one way or another.

Minor update. Last night I received my first clear transmission since installing the CB speaker. I mounted it on the B-pillar a few inches behind my head to keep it as loud as possible with the doors off. I wasn't sure about the volume til last night when I drove past a mobile reverend broadcasting a sermon. I damn near jumped in the passenger seat when he broke static, and I turned the radio down quick

Based on that experience, I'm pretty satisfied for the $12 (free shipping with Prime) that I paid for the speaker.
