Thanks, man. Glad you got on the Forum. Hopefully I'll make it to more of those meets.

As for the Comanche, I just did my first oil change in over 10k miles. Oops. Used a Wix filter to male up for it

Darker than midnight in a cellar.

Looking at a trans flush (non-pressurized) for a hair under $200. I'm sure my trans fluid has seen better days after all the times my engine overheated, and I'd like to get it right before go home.

I also just got my battery cables from 5-90. I underestimated the size of 1AWG, but they're very flexible. Product looks great.

I'm in open loop right now with my MAT/IAT unplugged to prevent backfiring. This changes my crank time from about 1sec to about 5sec. The new battery cables made a very noticeable difference that I would guess is around a 1sec reduction. I'll try them tomorrow with the MAT plugged in to see how quick she is.
Idle is lower, too. My old cables were falling apart when I pulled them out.

Trans flush! Getting ready for the road trip.

Here's what's coming out vs what's going in:

Thanks to GarrettFab for prepping my D44 for me! It got new seals, IRO truss welded on, brakes are going on tomorrow, and it should (hopefully) be installed by noon. We're also eliminating that pesky proportioning block from the rear by running a new hard brake line from the front metering block straight to the new 22" Rubicon Express braided stainless rear soft line. He had to do some grinding for clearance that didn't come out the prettiest due to the time constraints I imposed, but it's almost ready. I'll be very happy having this under the Jeep for the drive back to Cleveland next week, and even happier having it there when I haul the motorcycle back to Maryland.

The welds absolutely make up for the grinding:

And when I got home from the shop, I scraped all this out of my cross member with a flathead:
