It starts faster, idles smoother, accelerates/drives smoother, and my dash lights seem brighter. I don't know how much of that is real versus perception, but I'm happy with it either way. And I wasn't sure about going over the rail with the Line-X, but I think it looks great. Can't wait to get the rest done.

Thanks for the compliments, folks.

Man, that line-x looks great... wish I could afford to have it done to my rockers. I wanna bedline them, but it would be way better if I could have them line-x'd or rhino lined

No updates for a while cause she's been down. One of my freeze plugs went, and I've been driving Pudgy Fingers' XJ for about 2 weeks now. I've just been busy with work and moving, but I made a new friend with a lift. He took care of the freeze plug yesterday and replaced my O2 sensor after finding that it was broken. I'll be driving the 'Manche again today, and I'm hoping the cooling system cooperates for a couple more weeks.

I'll be getting my security deposit back from my old apartment next week. Between that and an upcoming travel bonus from work, I have some plans. The paint (bedliner) project is put on hold so I can get her running right.

Parts to order in the next few weeks:
- 'Open' cooling system conversion with all new parts
- CSF 3-Row aluminum radiator
- Dirtbound Offroad 3 E-fan kit (here)
- Dirtbound Offroad switch panel (here)

I shouldn't have to worry about overheating for a while once I'm done. I don't have anything to wire into the switch panel yet, but it replaces the ashtray which I don't use anyway. Plans for the switch panel:
- Winch control in place of open gauge spot
- Aux driving lights
- Fog lights
- Roof/flood lights
- Cargo lights
- Reverse/flood lights
- 1 spare switch for future plans

This is how I spend my 12 hour night shifts

Thanks for the advice
I just added a table of contents to the front page to take people straight to pictures.
Since you unruly people want progress, I'll say I picked out a color for paint. Green2000 is making me a sample to see if I want to go with it. Once the cooling system is under control, my next two major projects will be bedlining it and doing a 1.5" BB with 31s. Which one happens first will depends on finances.
And dukie, you'll be happy to know I'm considering a rear cut and fold. I still won't bob it, though.

I'm pretty sure this time, but I still want to see the sample since we already got the materials lol. I'm just gonna stop talking about the color in public until it's all ordered

Aaaand the freeze plug that was just replaced fell out a couple hours ago on the highway. Manche is waiting to be towed back to the garage, and I'll be hitching rides to and from work tomorrow.

Freeze plugs are all done, just need to get the accessories bolted back to the motor and install the front driveshaft. Unfortunately, I learned why she reeks of unleaded... Gas tank is leaking, fuel line is leaking, filler neck is dry rotted. Hopefully getting her back tomorrow so I can gather parts.
