well if your looking to wheel it or flex, id at least get a bb of 2 inches, with a 33/10.50 on stock offset wheel you may have luck with it, problem is the rear not so much the front, I just through them on there for time being and daily drove it. i took my front fenders off at the first line on the stock fender a little over 2 inches, if you bump stop right you will be fine but no lockers or a lift it probably wont do much that you want it to off road, so i recommend a 2 inch bb at the least. for the zj's theirs a lot of 2 inch bb out there pretty much anyone can afford. i have about 1300 in my lift once i buy my front long arms and its about 5 inch lift long arm front compared to irons 4 inch long arm 1500 kit. but hey its whatever you wanna do its your rig. let me know if i didnt answer your ? or if you have any more. at the time i did not have anything at all trimmed in the rear which isnt that hard to do. Not sure if your familier with mallcrawlin.com but the whole forum is pretty much dedicated to zj's.. one guy gets decent flex with 3.5 inch lift on 35's after i saw his thread i figure why cant i do 5 inch with 35s also go berserk flares are getting ordered this Friday when i get my tax money they really open the fenders up prob 2 more inches than what you see on mine iv had 6 jeeps 3 xjs built up and wouldn't trade my zj for one any day!
Yes, you answered my question - thanks. I would lock front and rear, so maybe it would work out good off-road. I'll ck out that site, and see what I can learn. I've also seen a few guys w/xjs running 35x12.50 on 3.5 and trimming. My last xj was 34x10.50 on 4.5. Lots of flex and no rubbing w/stock bumpstops. Going w/a 10.50 tire helps a lot.

if you put your cladding on it'll cover the dent right up other than that it looks good so far. I've thought about putting 4.5" springs on my ZJ

Got front two on need to trim a little in the back, before i put back two on and need a alliment like no other it is bad! but whenever i get time ill get all this taken care of for now it will sit for a couple days as is the springs are alot more bigger in diameter wise and the back 33s are rubbing the hell out of the coil spring but the 35s wheels have a nice offset which will fix that. And as far as this camber what can i do about that? the only thing that would change the camber is the knuckle right.. need some info on this
